Increasing the resilience of public authorities in the face of crisis

The BMBF project RESKON is developing a practical tool that helps public authorities to measure their resilience, identify capability gaps, provide suitable solutions for improvement and facilitate their implementation. Together with the Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance, the Federal Agency for Technical Relief and the Dortmund Fire Brigade, this method is being applied in two scenarios: a prolonged period of heat and a hybrid threat situation. The aim is to identify measures to increase resilience.
